POSITION OVERVIEW:
The IT Quality Tester plays a vital role in supporting the quality assurance efforts of Fontainebleau’s digital products and services. This position focuses on executing manual test cases, validating application functionality, and assisting in identifying and documenting software defects. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of software testing principles or willingness to learn, a keen eye for detail, and experience with computer and mobile technology and applications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:
- Execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications, and related systems
- Collaborate with QA leads, developers, and product teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage
- Identify, document, and track software defects using test management and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Browserstack, Monday, etc.)
- Assist in creating and maintaining test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test data
- Participate in functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Support validation of system performance and usability
- Provide feedback on application functionality, user experience, and potential improvements
- Learn and apply basic testing tools and techniques
- Attend team meetings such as daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and project updates
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

- Associate’s degree (or equivalent experience or certifications) preferred but not required
- Experience in software testing or an IT support role a plus
- Functional understanding of web and mobile technologies
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and grow in the QA field
- Familiarity with IT issue tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Monday)
- Basic knowledge of computer application functionality
- Experience in hospitality or gaming industry applications is a bonus

Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

The Member must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.

SALARY
$25.00 per hour
