POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Vendor and Financial Management Analyst at Fontainebleau Las Vegas will be responsible for managing vendor relationships and financial aspects related to IT services, products, and operations. This role involves overseeing vendor contracts, financial planning and analysis, budget management, and ensuring cost-effective procurement practices. The Analyst will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to optimize vendor performance and financial outcomes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiation, performance evaluation, and issue resolution.
- Conduct financial analysis and reporting related to IT expenditures, vendor costs, and budget forecasts.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making on vendor selection and procurement strategies.
- Monitor vendor compliance with contract terms and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of IT services and products.
- Prepare and present financial reports, budget proposals, and cost optimization recommendations to senior management.
- Assist in developing financial strategies and policies related to vendor and IT expenditures.
- Track and analyze financial trends related to IT vendor expenses and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
- Support internal audit activities related to vendor payments and financial controls.
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and company policies in vendor management activities.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3-5 years) in vendor management, financial analysis, or procurement roles, preferably in an IT environment.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of contract negotiation, vendor performance evaluation, and SLA management.
- Demonstrated ability to drive cost savings and process improvements through effective vendor and financial management strategies.
- Experience in the hospitality or luxury resort industry.
- Familiarity with IT procurement processes and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and financial management software.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not have any direct supervisory responsibility.

Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
