POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Solutions Architect at Fontainebleau Las Vegas is a key member of the IT team, responsible for designing and implementing innovative technology solutions that support our luxury casino resort operations. This role involves extensive collaboration with stakeholders across various departments to ensure that our IT systems align with business objectives and enhance the guest experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with business leaders, department heads, and other stakeholders to understand their needs, gather requirements, and translate them into effective technical solutions. Act as a liaison between the IT department and other business units to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
- Solution Design: Develop and design IT solutions that meet business requirements, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and secure.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to development teams, ensuring best practices in system architecture and software development.
- System Integration: Ensure seamless integration of new solutions with existing systems, and manage the lifecycle of system architecture.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all solutions and architectural decisions.
- Innovation: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies, and evaluate their potential impact on the business.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks in proposed solutions and develop mitigation strategies.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to IT staff and other stakeholders on new systems and technologies.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a solutions architect role, preferably in the hospitality or gaming industry.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud services, and software development methodologies.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing complex IT systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and manage relationships.
- Experience with project management and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Experience with casino management systems and hospitality technology.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF, or similar.
- Experience with cybersecurity best practices.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Team Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
