POSITION OVERVIEW

Social Media Manager, you'll be the digital voice of our brand, responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our organization's social media strategy. You'll play a pivotal role in enhancing brand awareness, driving engagement, and fostering a strong online community.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the overall marketing goals
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging platforms to ensure the brand remains innovative and competitive
  • Create engaging and shareable content across all social media platforms
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop visually appealing and on-brand content
  • Manage the content calendar and ensure timely and consistent postings
  • Foster a vibrant and active online community by engaging with followers and responding to comments and messages
  • Monitor social media channels for trends and conversations relevant to the brand
  • Utilize analytics tools to track and measure the performance of social media campaigns
  • Provide regular reports and insights to assess the effectiveness of strategies and recommend optimizations
  • Plan and execute social media campaigns, contests, and collaborations to enhance brand visibility
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate social media into broader marketing initiatives
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with influencers and brand advocates to expand reach and credibility
  • Develop partnerships and collaborations that align with the brand's values and objectives
  • Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box
  • Experience with social media analytics tools
  • Excellent multitasking and project management skills
  • Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, holidays, and weekends
  • Work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment with high call volume

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES    

This position will supervise line level Members on the Social Media team.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

The Member must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.

SALARY

$72000 per year - $82000 per year
