POSITION OVERVIEW
The primary duties of the Slot Technician is to facilitate the implementation of casino projects. This will include the installation, relocation, removal, conversions, repairs, and maintenance of slot machines. Other casino equipment such as marketing and cash-handling kiosks will be similarly maintained by this position. Additionally, the Slot Technician will support table games by conducting maintenance on table games equipment or installation of table games as needed. This position will have a high degree of customer visibility and interaction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure all Fontainebleau core values, property, and department standards are implemented and applied
- Responsible for the maintenance and servicing of casino equipment which will include slot machines, kiosks, and table games equipment
- Perform the installation, relocation, removal, and game conversion of slot machines in accordance with regulatory compliance, approved policies, and internal controls
- Assist vendors as needed
- Resolve technical problems and perform program upgrades and download setup
- Verify all configurations are accurate and match supporting documentation
- Work with other casino personnel to perform guest service recovery, verification of jackpots, and fix machine malfunctions
- Deliver and maintain a high degree of guest service
- Maintain accurate inventory of parts issued
- Document repair, preventive maintenance, machine prep, standard power analysis, and pre-site work, as required
- Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of all machines
- May be required to assist soft count during drops as required
- Adhere to all appearance and uniform standards
- Maintain good working relations with all levels of the organization and external vendors
- Follow documentation, policies, and procedures and perform tasks with minimal supervision
- Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

- High School Diploma required
- Three (3) years of electronics, repair, or slot technical experience, preferably from a large, high-volume luxury resort and casino
- Must possess a thorough knowledge of the mechanics, electronics, and electrical functions of gaming machines
- Experience opening a property preferred
- Must be able to read and translate wiring diagrams
- Must have working knowledge of Title 31 compliance
- Working knowledge of all NGCB rules, regulations, and Internal Controls
- Must be computer literate and have documented technical experience
- Knowledge and understanding of AC/DC fundamentals
- Knowledge of tools and experience using the tools is required
- Interpersonal skills with focused attention on guest needs
- Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to Fontainebleau appearance standards
- Maintain consistent adherence to Fontainebleau customer service standards
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of service delivery; to do what is necessary to ensure customer satisfaction, deal with service shortfalls, and prioritize customer needs
- Must possess sound business judgment, a high degree of personal motivation, and a very strong work ethic
- Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include holidays, nights, and weekends
- Work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
