POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Senior Graphic Animator, you will play a key role in developing visually stunning and engaging video and animation concepts across various mediums and touchpoints. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand project objectives and deliver high-quality visual solutions that effectively communicate our brand's message.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

  • Develop innovative and visually appealing design concepts, layouts, and motion graphics that align with project objectives and brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Art Director and creative services team to understand needs, review scripts, design storyboards, create and edit animations. 
  • Collaborate with creative services, marketing team, and stakeholders to brainstorm ideas, provide feedback, and refine video animations and designs to achieve desired results.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic, creative thinking, and attention to detail in all design projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and seamless collaboration between departments.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the company's brand guidelines, ensuring consistency and adherence to brand standards across all design projects.
  • Contribute to the evolution and refinement of the brand's visual identity, helping to shape and communicate its essence effectively.
  • Develop comprehensive design systems and guidelines to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, such as marketing, product development, and sales teams, to understand project requirements, objectives, and timelines.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines while maintaining high-quality design standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with external vendors, agencies, and freelancers when necessary, ensuring the delivery of exceptional design work.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design techniques, and emerging technologies to bring fresh ideas and innovative approaches to design projects.
  • Implement feedback and changes whenever possible. 
  • Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Animation, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as a Graphic Animator or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing exceptional design skills and creative concepts.
  • Proficiency in animation software and tools (such as After Effects, Premiere Pro, Animate, Adobe Character Animator).
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout composition.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and articulate design concepts and ideas.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for creating visually compelling designs that effectively communicate brand messaging.
  • Knowledge of strong storytelling skills, including attention to detail, adaptability, and receptiveness to feedback and direction.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES    

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

SALARY

$75000 per year - $85000 per year
