POSITION OVERVIEW

The Model Bartender in our day club combines bartending expertise with a captivating and glamorous presence, enhancing the guest experience by providing excellent service while adding an element of entertainment. This role involves serving drinks, engaging with guests, and contributing to the vibrant atmosphere of the nightclub.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

  • Skillfully craft a variety of cocktails, mixed drinks, and beverages, ensuring consistency and quality
  • Familiarize yourself with the nightclub's drink menu, offering recommendations and options to guests
  • Engage with guests in a friendly and charismatic manner, creating a welcoming and entertaining atmosphere
  • Incorporate showmanship and visual appeal while preparing drinks
  • Customize drinks based on guest preferences, ensuring a personalized and memorable experience
  • Greet VIP guests warmly and professionally, making them feel welcome and valued from the moment they arrive
  • Maintain a well-organized and fully stocked bar, ensuring the availability of essential ingredients and supplies
  • Process payments accurately and professionally, handling cash and electronic transactions
  • Recommend specialty drinks, promotions, and upscale offerings to enhance the guest experience
  • Participate in special events, themed parties, and promotions, adding to the overall excitement
  • Participate in conversations, answer inquiries, and provide information about the nightclub's offerings
  • Adhere to responsible alcohol service regulations, health codes, and safety standards
  • Maintain a sophisticated and glamorous appearance while adhering to the nightclub's dress code and image standards
  • Work collaboratively with other bartenders, servers, and nightclub staff to provide seamless service and maintain a harmonious work environment
  • Communicate effectively with guests and coworkers, ensuring clear and friendly interactions
  • Follow all safety and hygiene protocols, including proper handling of equipment, utensils, and ingredients
  • Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area and workspaces, adhering to health and safety guidelines
  • Create visually appealing and engaging content for social media, including photos, videos, and stories featuring drink preparation and entertainment
  • Engage in live streaming sessions on platforms like Instagram or Facebook, showcasing cocktail preparation, mixology tips, and behind-the-scenes glimpses of the nightclub atmosphere
  • Share engaging stories and anecdotes about the nightclub, its history, signature drinks, and memorable moments to connect with followers
  • Craft captivating captions that align with the nightclub's brand, encouraging interaction and engagement from followers
  • Respond to comments, direct messages, and mentions on social media, interacting with followers and building a strong online presence
  • Utilize relevant hashtags and geotags in posts to increase visibility and connect with a broader audience
  • Encourage patrons to share their experiences at the nightclub by using a specific hashtag, and then curate and repost the best user-generated content
  • Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of two (2) years experience as a bartender, possessing a deep knowledge of mixology
  • Proficiency in crafting cocktails, mixology techniques, and drink presentation
  • Exude confidence and have a captivating presence, maintaining a polished and stylish appearance that aligns with the nightclub's image
  • Capability to recommend and upsell premium beverages and offerings
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service to VIP guests
  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to engage and entertain guests effectively
  • Willingness to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively with colleagues
  • Collaboration with bar and service staff to ensure a cohesive and enjoyable atmosphere
  • Proficiency in processing payments and managing transactions
  • Familiarity with responsible alcohol service regulations and safety practices
  • Willingness to work in a dynamic nightclub environment and adapt to changing demands
  • Compliance with all legal age requirements for serving alcoholic beverages in the respective location
  • Maintain a consistent and engaging online persona that aligns with the nightclub's brand image
  • Must fit in the nightclub's uniform and refrain from altering it without permission
  • Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, holidays, and weekends
  • Work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

The Member must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
