POSITION OVERVIEW

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for designing and producing captivating visual content that effectively engages and informs our Members. This role will collaborate closely with our Internal Communications and Engagement teams to develop a diverse array of visually compelling materials for print, web, video, and social media. The ideal candidate will have a passion for luxury hospitality and an eye for design that effectively communicates our brand and values.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

  • Collaborate with the Internal Communications and Engagement teams to design and create visually striking content that captures attention and resonates with our Members
  • Create a wide range of visual assets, including infographics, presentations, social media graphics, email templates, digital signage and more
  • Ensure that all visual content is consistent with the brand guidelines and tone of voice
  • Develop and support a strong understanding of our company culture, values, and initiatives
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Maintain a library of visual assets for use in future communications
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure the accuracy and quality of all visual materials
  • Stay current with the latest design trends and tools, continuously enhancing your skills and knowledge
  • Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Three (3) years of experience as a graphic designer, preferably in luxury hospitality or a related field
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects)
  • Working knowledge of Final Cut Pro, motion graphics, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web content management software such as WordPress
  • Experience with conceptualization and creation of visual products for promotional, advertising, educational and informational purposes
  • Experience designing for digital channels (email, intranet, social media)
  • Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and composition
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, set up priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with others
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to set clear priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
