POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for a friendly and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Sales Supervisor in our retail store, Hall of Excellence. As the Hall of Excellence Supervisor, you will be the face of our brand, responsible for providing excellent customer service and assisting shoppers in finding the right products for their needs, while also supporting team members with customer issues and maintaining an exceptional service environment. Your engaging personality, product knowledge, and sales skills will contribute to creating a positive shopping experience for our customers while driving sales and achieving store targets. You will ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to and uphold a professional selling culture.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:
- Greet and welcome customers as they enter the exhibition, assisting and answering any questions about the experience
- Actively listen to guests' needs and provide exhibit knowledge while sharing key moments and facts about the exhibit pieces on display
- Be the lead host of the exhibit. Give your team training and exposure while leading by example
- Engage guests in demonstrations and explanations, highlighting exhibit knowledge and providing an elevated experience
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all pieces and stay up to date with knowledge around current events, activations and exhibit pieces
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Handle cash and card transactions, issue receipts, and process exchanges or returns
- Assist with merchandising tasks, including restocking shelves, arranging displays, and maintaining a tidy and organized store environment
- Ensure products are properly tagged with pricing and by visual merchandising guidelines
- Build rapport with guests to foster loyalty and repeat business
- Collaborate with team members and store management to achieve store targets and objectives
- Assist in inventory management tasks, such as conducting stock counts and restocking inventory
- Participate in product knowledge training sessions to enhance expertise and skills
- Adhere to store security measures and assist in loss prevention efforts to minimize theft and shrinkage
- Ensure all team members are providing excellent service according to service standards and expectations
- Ensure all policy and procedures are being upheld and executed consistently
- Maintain a team environment of integrity and service through leading by example
- Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - High school diploma or equivalent (some college education preferred)
- One (1) year of retail sales in a commission environment preferred
- One (1) year of retail operations experience in an exhibit or retail environment preferred
- Previous retail supervisor or customer service supervisor experience is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with customers, team members and managers effectively
- Enthusiastic and friendly personality with a customer-centric approach
- Comfortable providing feedback to team members that supports a professional and productive selling environment
- Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative, problem solve, work independent of direct supervision
- Ability to perform basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, holidays, and weekends
- Work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will oversee retail sales associates

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

The Member must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.

$26.44 per hour
COMMISSION
This position offers commission-based incentives for sales generated from guest transactions.
