POSITION OVERVIEW
The Director of National Accounts is responsible for presenting Fontainebleau Las Vegas as a premier destination for Group business. The primary role is to maintain and manage accounts and secure future business opportunities for 401+ rooms on peak within their respective market. The manager will provide support and aid in mentoring Team Members as directed by the Director of Sales.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:
- Identify and pursue prospective group meeting and conference business from free market information, as well as information from purchased lead sources, analyzing historical and other statistical information (market segment, account mix goals)
- Cross-collaborate with internal stakeholders to execute business initiatives and drive market strategy
- Develop and execute a strategic plan for the overall market that is consistent with department goals (e.g., competition, economic trends, seasonality, supply, buying cycles, demand, etc.)
- Obtain and handle inquiries through sales efforts with various accounts within assigned territory
- Evaluate and manage future inquiries to identify optimal business opportunities
- Within established parameters, quote and negotiate prices with customer representatives and draw up and execute contracts
- Manage the RFP process/rate negotiations according to the Company’s rate structure and guidelines
- Cultivate and grow existing accounts and obtain new accounts
- Achieve established room night and revenue goals as outlined by the agreed-upon goals
- Maintain written and verbal communication with new and existing customers to maximize account potential
- Represent the brand at client events and industry shows to create brand awareness and build customer relationships (travel to include sales calls, tradeshows, networking functions, and various industry events)
- Maintain product knowledge at all times including all relevant rate structures and promotional offers
- Develop marketing suggestions to maximize occupancy and other resort revenue streams
- Showcase Fontainebleau Las Vegas through in-depth site inspections with prospective customers and 3rd parties
- Build and maintain relationships with customers and 3rd parties in order to be a strategic resource and market expert
- Gain an understanding of customer’s business, business issues, and concerns, and offer customized solutions
- Identify opportunities to maximize revenue by promoting the entire resort
- Implement Fontainebleau’s service strategy and brand initiatives in all aspects of each customer experience
- Maintain an understanding of competitor’s strengths and weaknesses in order to differentiate Fontainebleau Las Vegas from the competition
- Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - Minimum four (4) years of experience selling a resort-style property with more than 100,000 square feet of conference space
- Proven success in achieving established financial goals
- Demonstrates confidence in contract negotiation
- Ability to travel and network, occasionally in the evening and on weekends
- Strong presentation skills
- Superior organizational skills to function effectively within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail
- Effective listening abilities with strong reasoning skills
- Exceptional customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
- Consistently maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms
- Thrives in a team-oriented environment
- Proficiency in software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment, i.e., telephone, copier, projector
- Ability to provide leadership and direction contributing to the success of the organization through engaging, developing, and mentoring individuals and teams
- Demonstrated ability in maintaining consistent, high-quality service levels
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to organize effectively, delegate responsibility, solve problems quickly, and communicate clearly
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

SALARY
$90000 per year - $120000 per year
