POSITION OVERVIEW
The Casino Marketing Analyst is responsible for supporting the casino with marketing administration and execution, assisting player development and casino host teams, and performing segmentation and analyses to improve the organization’s database marketing efforts pertaining to Casino Special Events. Reporting to the Director of Database Marketing, they will perform efforts in leveraging casino customer data to build profitable, long-term customer relationships while delivering hyper-personalized communications and guest experiences.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:
- Support and perform the day-to-day data operations for casino marketing host teams and casino special events.
- Implement and assist in the overall maintenance and organization of the casino host database, including the identification and host assignment of prospective qualified customers.
- Provide timely casino marketing reporting and analytical support to internal business stakeholders and senior leadership to support effective business decision-making.
- Perform data modeling, reporting, and analysis on casino host performance.
- Develop and execute criteria for casino customer segments based on demographics, behavior, and preferences to enhance personalization efforts and drive visitation.
- Track, monitor, and analyze special events direct marketing programs and generate proformas and post-analysis for all tournaments and casino player events.
- Create and/or maintain end-to-end casino database marketing performance reporting and analytics dashboards.
- Coordinate and collaborate closely with the database marketing campaign team in the set-up, QA, and activation of casino special events across multiple systems to enable smooth and accurate multi-channel offer redemptions.
- Provide and present optimization insights and recommendations for casino marketing strategies and campaigns based upon analysis to leadership team.
- Implement efficient and scalable methodologies, processes, workflows, and automations for casino marketing data management and operations composed of multiple technology systems and platforms.
- Serve as an in-house specialist for customer data and our guest and loyalty databases (i.e., customer profiles, data/address hygiene, personalization, campaign management, data privacy, and database analytics).
- Perform ad-hoc analysis, reporting or projects as requested.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor’s degree in business with a focus on quantitative fields (analytics, statistics, data science) and/or equivalent professional work experience in analytics roles.
- Minimum one year of experience in a casino marketing, database marketing, or loyalty marketing role required.
- Prior experience in gaming/hospitality industry required.
- Hands-on experience in Excel (pivot, lookups, etc.), data querying/modeling tools (SQL, R, Python, etc.), and data visualization/BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.).
- Proficiency in writing, debugging, and refining SQL query scripts required.
- Strong technical understanding of data, database management, and reporting/analytics, especially involving large and complex datasets (transactional/interaction-level customer data).
- Have ability to quickly gain proficiency of a database marketing tech stack and data flow that involve multiple systems, databases, and tools.
- Keen attention to detail & accuracy in data handling and reporting.
- Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical teams.
- A self-starter with an ability to anticipate, multi-task, and prioritize workload with minimal supervision in a fast-paced and quickly evolving environment.
- Have natural curiosity and thrive in answering business questions with data and metrics.
- Passionate about scalable and future-proof processes, systems, and analytics.
