POSITION OVERVIEW
The Fleur de Lis Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting the Fleur de Lis Manager with the day-to-day operations, organization, and collaboration in executing the fine details of our guest stays. The Operations Manager is organized, collaborative and hands on at a very high level. This position will oversee all aspects of a flawless guest experience from beginning to end in Fleur de Lis.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:
- Create and maintain a work environment which promotes teamwork, performance, feedback, recognition, mutual respect, and Member satisfaction thus resulting in member retention and profitability of the department
- Collaborate on creating the Fleur De Lis experience ensuring guests expectations are exceeded along with overall member satisfaction
- Assist in maintaining all processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Fleur De Lis department
- Coach Members to create world-class guest experiences with every guest interaction
- Responsible monitoring and managing KPIs and workflow effectiveness, and ensuring Members have adequate guidance and resources
- Provide performance feedback on a regular basis and are recognized and praised for positive performance
- Assisting with leading the Fleur De Lis team in exceeding guest requests with anticipatory service and coordinates with applicable departments to ensure a world class experience
- Ensure the Fleur De Lis suites are kept to a very high standard and take immediate action to remediate any concerns with appropriate partner departments; Does so by conducting regular inspections of all Fleur De Lis accommodations
- Assist with departmental ordering and keeping acceptable pars of all food and beverage offerings and equipment necessary to the Fleur De Lis operation
- Ensure all printed departmental materials such as menus and any in suite collateral are up-to-date and appropriately stocked
- Maintain the highest standards of service and attention to detail, ensuring that all guest interactions meet or exceed expectations
- Assist with departmental time keeping including tracking of call outs, attendance points, and leave of absences
- Assist with department scheduling when necessary
- Ensure Members have strong adherence to the uniform, personal appearance, and hygiene standards
- Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

- Two (2) years of leadership experience in Luxury Services, VIP Services or Butler Services in a luxury hotel and/or casino
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, Hospitality, Hotel, or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Extensive knowledge of Butler Services in a high volume luxury hotel, gaming preferred
- Highly motivated and energetic personality with a strong commitment to excellence in hospitality
- Previous experience in a large, luxury resort preferred
- Strong understanding of tea knowledge and service
- Strong understanding of liquors, mixology, and service
- Strong understanding of table management and international food service styles
- Strong understanding of international etiquette and protocol
- Strong understanding of wine knowledge and service
- Knowledge and deep understanding of all aspects of hotel operations, including revenue optimization, resort services, and back-of-house operations
- Extensive technical literacy, with a strong understanding of hospitality management programs and other hotel technology innovations (automation, smart rooms, etc.)
- Ability to effectively achieve business unit goals and objectives by implementing strategic and operational plans, budgets, and best practices; and monitoring and evaluating results
- Ability to actively influence and drive collaboration with individuals or groups at various levels within and outside of the organization
- Ability to provide leadership and direction contributing to the success of the organization through engaging, developing, and mentoring individuals and teams
- Demonstrated ability in maintaining consistent, high-quality service levels
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to organize effectively, delegate responsibility, solve problems quickly and communicate clearly
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive guest and company information
- Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include holidays, nights, and weekends
- Work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position supervises the Butlers, Butler Apprentices and Butler Coordinators.

Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.

SALARY
$70000 per year - $90000 per year
